Bridges and dentures

Bridges and dentures

Bridges are a permanent and realistic looking way of filling a gap between teeth that has been caused by a missing tooth or teeth. Bridges can hold one or more false teeth, and are held in place by the neighbouring teeth. Sometimes the neighbouring teeth (one on each side) will need to have crowns fitted to make them strong enough to support the bridge.

Dentures can replace any number of missing teeth, and are removeable. Modern techniques mean they fit far better than they used to, and look far more realistic too.
